Expect the unexpected. Surprises lurk around each corner, and through the ministry of Jesus, Mark reveals to us that God’s ways are not our ways. The expected Messiah is really a teacher, a healer, and a servant. Humble and meek, He is not the warrior leading an army to overthrow Rome. But, God has a plan.
